Cry for the Children – Cry for the World

Cry for the horrors that daily unfold.

Where is this paradise that throws open it’s gate

to the men and women who hold such hate.

With eyes of fire and hearts of steel –

Some will claim to act - with Gods will.

Where are the men that preach this faith

Their courage is such they show no face.

They add no value to humanity

Just arrogantly foster this insanity.

Our children do not understand –

they asked even not to enter our land –

simply seeking comfort from holding our hand.

Why and in whose name do they carry out these deeds

It serves no man, God - or meaningful needs.

Children have no boundary, religion or views – like a new born babe – they wear no shoes

Their trust in us is total and complete -

The abuse of this is beyond belief.

So sleep on our children wherever you may be

We deserve neither your love, or company.

Life for you was short - with untimely end

A gift that was broken - never to mend.

Cry for the children - Cry for the world

Cry for the pain and suffering yet untold.
