Riding Road Trip in 2009

Hi Guys
If you attended our May meeting you already know we are planning another summer riding road trip in 2009.

The 2009 trip will be approximately 6,500 miles long and will cover of some of the most beautiful roads (not freeways) the United States has to offer.

If you went with us in 2007 you already know what fantastic country side we traveled through - From the Redwood Forest in Northern California, Oregon's Crater Lake the Teton Mountain Range, the Wind River Canon and the Big Horn Mountain Range in Wyoming, the Black Hills of South Dakota, Glacier National Park in Montana and the Clear River Canon of Northern Idaho (listed as the most beautiful by-way in the USA in McNally Rand)

Many of these area's/rides are considered as some of the most picturesque rides in the entire United States in various magazines and maps !!

We plan to see them and ride them all again, in 2009 -- PLUS MORE !!

As with our 2007 road trip - Our nightly accommodations will be many of the great campsites America has to offer -- If you have never been riding/camping on this type of adventure - Have no fears ! - Leo & I  have been doing this since 1998 and have never stayed in a bad campsite yet ! --  Wether it's a privately owned campsite or one that is run by the State, County or Forestry Service they have all been fantastic accommodation with clean hot showers and bathroom facilities, and many of them have laundry facilities also !!  - Which we take advantage of whenever available.

There is no better way to see the beauty of the United States Of America than from the seat of a Harley Davidson along with the comradery of your fellow H.O.G members and friends !! --  You hear your fellow H.O.G member talk about what a fantastic time they had on there riding vacation, but until you do it yourself -- You'll never appreciate what it's all about !!

Now !! --  Is the time to start planning and saving money for this trip !! -- Not a week from now or months from now ! --  Today !! Is the day !!

We will be leaving Maui the last week of July 2009 and returning sometime around the 25th of August 2009.

There are 421 days between now and when we leave --  Saving $15.00 per day between now and then will get you enough to make the trip.

If you have never been on this type of road trip and have always dreamed of doing so --  Now is your opportunity to make it happen !!  Start planning NOW !! for the summer of 2009 !! You'll never look back !! And if your like the guy's that went in 2007 -- You'll have the "BEST VACATION YOU HAVE EVER HAD" !!  --  Ask anyone of them !!
