Sunday April 13th

After surviving our yearly company party camping trip/weekend - Packing up and returning home by mid morning on Sunday - It was time to call our H.O.G chapter and find out where they are !!  - One phone call to Michael & I found out they were at Maui Harley Davidson and headed to Hang Loose Lounge !! --  I'm on my way !!  Don't leave Hang Loose with out me !! --  Firing up my Chopper , I was on my way to Hang Loose - via Robs house, for an afternoon of riding !!!!!!!!

Arriving at Hang Loose Lounge Rob & I found the rest of the gang all refreshed and ready for a  ride up country !

We took off for Kahikinui, via Ulupalukua taking Omaupio road to Kula - Along for the ride were two guests from Tacoma Washington H.O.G Chapter - Ron & Tina. The ride started off quite windy in Kahului but soon calmed down as we made our way towards Kula - With a leisurely ride through Kula & Ulupalukua we soon found ourselfves on the road to Kahikinui - Obviously the road had seen some damage from recent storms as fine cinder gravel was seen in many spots on the road; But that didn't slow us down or deter us and soon we reached the Hawaiian Home Lands meeting house at Kahikinui, (12 miles past Ulupalakua) where we stopped & took a break, admired the view and built new freindship with our fellow H.O.G members from Washington State.

After a short stop at Ulupalukua Ranch Store for an Elk Burger we were off once again taking a detour on hwy 377 up past Kula Lodge, eventually making our way back down to Kahului - A quick gas stop was next on the list and after a show of hands we were off to Lahaina for a little refreshment at the World Famous Sly Mongoose !!

Thanks to everyone that came out & rode on Sunday - It was, yet another great day out !! With the very best of company !!
