Ride Request

Are you new to Maui and don't know where to ride?

Maybe you have been here, but want to see new things?
Bike rentals are costly. Why spend time riding aimlessly trying to see the sights?
Maui H.O.G. is happy to show you our Island Paradise. Let us know what your preferences are and we will make them happen. Your price as a fellow H.O.G. member is $00.00! We want you to see what the "Aloha Spirit" is all about and have you visit our chapter. Come and have one of the best times of your lives in Paradise.

My wife and I are HOG members here in Mendocino County Ca. and are coming to Maui in June this year. I have a bike reserved to pick up on Saturday the 6th and would like to join you on your Sunday ride on the 7th. We have the bike till the 9th and plan to see as much of the Island as possible while we have it. We look forward to meeting you all and making new friends.

I'm not a H.O.G. member (but do love to ride :-) and have a group of people (of which I know some are...) coming to Maui for a meeting and we were attempting (since October) to set-up rentals with Marty at Aloha Riders/Aloha Toy Store. We were just recently informed that he is unable to assist with rentals. Am very much hoping your dealership will be able to assist with bike rentals and some maps of decent rides. Riders have been to Maui before so we don't really need a guide but some suggested routes for a day trip or a few short 2-3 hour trips would be great. Only looking for a few bikes as well: (2) bikes for the week of 1/24 - 1/31 and an additional (2) bikes on Thursday 1/29. I will have Myrna Hindo from my organization contact you to see what is possible to arrange at this late of date (arrrrggghhh!). Thanks so much for whatever helpyou can provide

Details:

1. (2) bikes for Saturday 1/24 (drop off at Ritz at 1pm is possible) - Saturday 1/31 (pick up at Ritz at 4pm). (1) Road King and (1) Heritage Softail with windshields or something equivalent.
2. (2) additional bikes on Thursday 1/29 (available by 9am - 10am at the latest). We'll be done with these bikes by 6-7pm I expect - but lets assume 24 hour rental with drop off at 9am on Thursday; pick-up 9am Friday. Both with Windshields. (2) Road Kings are fine or equivalent.
3. If possible would like to get all paperwork in advance so we can complete, get you copies of licenses, etc.
4. Would love pick-up/drop-off at the Ritz if at all possible and do understand this would incur additional charges.

Hi

I live in Australia. I belong to H.O.G here and have a 2006 Softail Deluxe
I would be keen to come to Hawaii later this year and possibly spend a weekl on Maui. Do you have a ride calendar that an overseas HOG member can ride on to see the sights etc??

Is there a recommended dealer to hire from ??

Regards

Chris

I are coming to Maui for my honeymoon and I am a new HOG member as of August. I've been riding for 12 years- 33 states and looking forward to making hawaii my 34th! From our research it looks like Maui is the island to rent the bike to go riding. We will be in Maui arriving late 2/3/2009 (Tuesday) and departing early 2/8/2009 (Sunday). I would love some advice as to where to go riding. Riding in Hawaii is one of my most anticipated highlights. There is a lot we want to do, but we hope to get some good riding in. And a state sign to take a picture with the motorcyle and me. I've heard conflicting advise regarding Heavenly Road to Hana and motorcycles-- can you give me some insight?

Thanks!

Adam
