E-mailI are coming to Maui for my honeymoon and I am a new HOG member as of August. I've been riding for 12 years- 33 states and looking forward to making hawaii my 34th! From our research it looks like Maui is the island to rent the bike to go riding. We will be in Maui arriving late 2/3/2009 (Tuesday) and departing early 2/8/2009 (Sunday). I would love some advice as to where to go riding. Riding in Hawaii is one of my most anticipated highlights. There is a lot we want to do, but we hope to get some good riding in. And a state sign to take a picture with the motorcyle and me. I've heard conflicting advise regarding Heavenly Road to Hana and motorcycles-- can you give me some insight?

Have been thinking about seeing your part of the world this coming Feb. Dates are not set in stone yet, but I'm wondering what, if any, activities are planned for that month.
Would be interested in daily runs to points of interest and just sight-seeing.

E-mail Aloha Maui Hogs! We were on Maui last Feb, We met Mike Maguire on the road, and he turned us on to you all. We also met Kalani at Henrys Bar, and he invited us to a FABULOUS Lu'au at his place.
We were so taken with the "aloha spirit" that we are returning in Feb. The original plan was to rent a harley from Kalani, but Kanaka Metal Horse is not in business. Can you recomend a rental place? And can we ride with the hogs feb. 8th or 15th? We truly enjoyed meeting Mike,Stuart,Leo,Dan,Barb,and all the folks whose names we can't remember! i'm going to be visiting the island in november. i'll be arriving on the 13th and departing on the 16th. was hoping for some help from someone who knows that lay of the land. do you think renting a bike from fly and ride or the dealership on the island is the better route to go? i'm not looking for a big touring bike, would prefer something a little smaller. was planning on taking the road to hana, and watching the sunset from the highest point (not in the same day). if anyone is interested, i'd really like to check out the island that the tourists don't normally see. look forward to hearing back, and can't wait to get into the pacific. thanks...

E-mailI will be comming to maui on january 23-29, 2009 with a group of restaurant owners from the North Texas area and would like the assistance of the HOG there in setting up a ride. Usually there is about 10 members of Different HOG groups on the trip. If possible we would like all to ride. I have never been to Maui, don't know were to rent, but sorta got elected to try and set up a ride.
