Hi Guys,
Today is December 31st 2008 and soon it will be 2009.

As I look back and reminisce on our year past, I can only think of all the great times, I have had, being part of H.O.G and more specifically our Maui H.O.G Chapter.

As a lot of you know, I have always felt our membership is made up of the best people in the world !! - Guys and gals that love to get out and ride; But more importantly, love to enjoy life and have a great, fun time doing it ! I think that is what makes our chapter so special and such a positive, friendly riding experience, for everyone !

What a beautiful day it turned out to be on November 30th 2008 !

Unlike some past years, our 2008 Turkey Scoot Run was dry, blue skies, bright and sunny ! The day started out at 9.00 am, meeting for registration at Maui Harley-Davidson - Upon arrival at the Harley Shop, Joe and the gang were already setting up tables for us and laying out a spread of coffee and pastries ! Outside in the parking lot Gary was setting up the back drop for a photo shoot, of all the bikes and riders soon to arrive;  With our chapter flag and 'Turkey Scoot' poster in place, he was soon snapping away getting some great photo's of approximately 120 awesome Harley's and their riders !!

Our Turkey Scoot this year has been moved to Sunday November 30th.

This years run will be sponsored in part by Maui Harley Davidson and the new Lulu's Resturant in Lahaina located in the Lahaina Cannery Mall next to Safeway.

Hi Guys
We need to start finalizing our numbers for the golf outing on Saturday November 8th.

Registration Deadline is Monday November 3rd - If you have not got your, registration paperwork in yet, please, do so as soon as possible - Call Rob at 870 6729

If you have given fliers & registration forms to friends etc, please follow up with them and remind them of the dates and help them get their paperwork in if they need it.

Hi Guys,
Due to conflict with some members Halloween celebrations, our camping trip to Hosmers Grove will be postponed until further notice.

I apologize if this is a disappointment to you - I wanted to go also !!
-- We will set it up for another time in the future.

Hi Guys

As we discussed at our October meeting:

We are going to have an over night camping trip to Hosmers Grove on Saturday October 25th !

This camp site is located just inside Haleakala National Park on the left hand side as you enter the park.

WOW !! -- What a fantastic time we had at the HOG rally this past weekend October 10th - 12th.
Our HOG brothers & sisters from Waipahu Chapter & Honolulu Chapter really took care of us and showed us a great time !! In the true spirit of HOG.
